Gerhard Venter

Gerhard Venter (SHERQ & Training Manager)

 

Gerhard Venter started off his career as an instructor in the Intelligence and Signals divisions of the South African National Defense Force and in 1989 he joined SASOL, he was one of the team members responsible for the commissioning and startup of the POLYMERS plant at SECUNDA where he also excelled into the logistics and training departments.

Since 1995 Mr. Venter is involved in training people from all industries around South Africa and neighboring states ranging from work floor to management level. He has successfully completed the SDF, Mentor, SDF, Assessor, Moderators training course as well as the registered Internal and Lead Auditors courses for ISO 9001/2000.

Jakkie Badenhorst

Jakkie Badenhorst (Assessor/facilitator/mentor)

 

After a long career as an instructor and inspector in the South African Police force, Jakkie joined Greystones in the car operations where he was initially employed as a driver and later he progressed to the level of foreman in charge of the lashing operations.

Shortly after joining the training team in 2004, Jakkie has been trained as facilitator, mentor and assessor. In 2005 he successfully completed the ISO 9001/2000 internal auditor’s course.

Bheki Nzama

Bheki Nzama (Assessor/facilitator/mentor)

 

Mr. Nzama joined Greystones in 2003 as part of the pilot learnership for the Certificate in Freight Handling on NQF level 3. Out of a group of 6 learners, Bheki has proofed to be the only learner who passed all the unit standards the 1st tome around.

After the successful completion of the learnership in 2004 Bheki has joined the training department at Greystones where he has since been working and excelled as an H.R assistant, mentor, facilitator and assessor.

Mr. Nzama has completed the Skills Development Facilitator course and he is also responsible for reporting learner progress and communicating to the SETA.
